Struggling to afford a suitable space in Sunderland to develop your artistic practice?
Want to be surrounded by emerging and established artists?
Vincent.r.t Curating has partnered with MBC Arts Wellbeing CIC , Sunderland Culture and School of Art & design at the University of Sunderland. This project will offer two emerging practitioners the chance to develop their work in generous large studio spaces.
This is a great opportunity to integrate with emerging and professional artists as well as benefiting from the networking and support provided MBC Arts Wellbeing CIC and 31 Norfolk Street.
The creative practitioner applying will need to propose activity surrounding Sunderland’s heritage as a maker of ceramics researching Pink Lusterwear and encapsulating the maritime themes, however this is project is open to all mediums.
There are two large studios will be available from the beginning of November.
If shortlisted you may be asked to attend a meeting to discuss your application with a panel from the partnership organisations.
